The history of the band under mysterious name “FFERYLLT” goes up to autumn of 2003 when keyboard player Dmitry Eliseev (Diarmaid) has thought of musical project with concept devoted to his native religion – Western Europian Paganism. Asatru and Druidism became the main topics for Diarmaid’ songs. That times FFERYLLT was studio project only. Vocalist O’Kella who took part in demo recording hasn’t become closely related with the project.
The spring of 2007 became the gulp of fresh air for the project – vocalists Yanina Zelenskaya and Rustam Borzov, guitarists Andrey Avdik and Alexey Godlevsky and bassist Alexandr Lebedev have joined to the project. 6th of May 2007 is the birthday of FFERYLLT as a complete line-up band.
The help of friends and unique spiritual atmosphere took great part in successful recording od debut album under name “Dance of Druids”. Western Europien ethnic instruments which palyed guest musicians from different countries: Vladimir Cherepovsky (ARKONA, LOS GAITEROS DE MOSCU), Simon Muller (FOLKEARTH, EXCELSIS, SUNUTHAR), Diana Timoschenko, Sonja Tavormina (SUADA), Pablo Allen (SKILTRON) became the soul of the album.
The album includes 11 tracks (one of them is instrumental and two covers of ENSIFERUM and ELUVEITIE songs). Lyrics saturate with spirit of Nature, Celtic and Skandinavian Pagan festivals. The album was recorded by the band themselves at own project-studio (Fire Light Records). The design of booklet and CD was made by Moscow designer Diana Lebedeva (www.moongarden.ru )
